Rafael Bennitez still hopes Liverpool can challenge Manchester United for second place in the Premier League. He sees victory tonight as essential if the Reds are to close the gap, “The Fulham game is very important now. Manchester have games in hand and are five points ahead but if we can get three points closer to them it makes things possible” (BBC News). Captain Steven Gerrard will be looking to make amends for his disastrous mistake on Sunday at Highbury, while the Liverpool front men all have points to prove. With United now firing on all cylinders it will be a tough ask to catch them but there is no question that tonight’s game is a must win. This season is fast turning from what a few weeks ago looked like it could end in success, to an anti-climax as the current Liverpool team look to have well and truly run out of steam.

Masters Golf Tickets : Premier Leagues are becoming more and more matters of opinion than of play, from what blogs one can see plastered over the web. I read somewhere how Rafael Bennitez was visibly upset over his helplessness when Xabi Alonso was sent off from the field in the Highbury face-off. It seems that the coverage on television had clearly shown that Philip Senderos was not tripped up intentionally… yet the decision was made and resulted in two yellow cards. Anyway this only means that a player like Alonso would miss the Fulham game and the consequence is anyone’s guess. I guess red tape is the priority now and not football… It’s sad!
